Our Lords Prayer
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us Father, not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory. In the holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray. - Amen
Matthew 11: 28
Come unto me, all who are heavy laden and I will give thee rest.
Luke 6: 38
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.
Prayer Of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life. - Amen
Romans 5: 8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
John 14: 6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Romans 3: 10,23
10). As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: 23). For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 10
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Matthew 22: 37-39
37). Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." 38). "This is the first and great commandment." 39). "And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Exodus 20 (10 Commandments)
You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or likeness of anything: you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vein. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Honor your father and mother. You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultry. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. You shall not covet anything that is your neighbor's.
Psalms 23
The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Psalms 1: 1-3
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
- Exodus 20
Numbers 6: 24
May the LORD bless you and keep you;
may the LORD cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
may the LORD lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace.
